Guy Gsell

President and Chief Executive Producer

Guy Gsell (Executive Producer/Director) is a writer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur with a thirty-year track record of success in professional theater, large scale exhibits and theme parks. He is the founder and creator of the popular Field Station: Dinosaurs theme parks with locations in the New York/New Jersey and Wichita, Kansas metropolitan areas. Prior to founding Field Station: Dinosaurs, Guy was the Director of Discovery Times Square, where he was responsible for the build-out, startup and daily operations of a 40,000SF exhibition hall in the heart of New York City. From 2002-2008, Guy was Managing Director of the Two River Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey where he led a $20,000,000 capital campaign and construction project and produced or coproduced over thirty live plays. His full-length play, Squaring the Circle, was produced in New York at Theater for the New City and was cited in the Applause/Best Plays Theater Yearbook. Guy has performed his original songs at some of the Jersey shore’s most famed music venues and his musical “Two Islands”, co-written with Ken Schwartz, received its first professional workshop production at Dreamcatcher Rep. Guy’s songs for children have been the heart of Field Station: Dinosaurs educational programming for ten years and have been loved by millions of kids and their families. Guy has been a contestant on both Jeopardy! and Who Wants to be a Millionaire? where he was the recipient of parting gifts.

Lisa Fardella

Director of Parks Administration and Operations

Lisa was the Park Manager for Field Station: Dinosaurs NJ from 2015 to 2021 before becoming the Director of Parks Administration and Operations for both the New Jersey and Kansas Parks. Lisa comes to the Field Station after spending most of her career in the non-profit theater business. Lisa was a member of the Two River Theater Company staff from its inaugural season in 1995 until 2007. In her initial role as Office Assistant, she created the framework for all administrative departments and honed her expertise as an Audience Services Specialist. She also served as the company’s ADA Coordinator. Under her leadership, Two River Theater Company became a statewide leader in Services for Clients with Disabilities, resulting in grant awards from the New Jersey Arts Access Task Force. Lisa received the 2003 New Jersey Theater Alliance Applause Award for her dedication and commitment to NJ Theaters.

Following her tenure at Two River Theater Company, Lisa became the Director of Operations at the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan. Lisa oversaw the daily operations of the 550-seat theater as well as the staff and volunteers. In addition, she was the ADA Coordinator and established an ASL interpretive program so visitors with hearing impairments were able to experience live theater.

Lisa is a co-founder and served on the Board of Trustees for the German Shepherd Rescue of New Jersey and is an active volunteer with Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary. She served on the Board of Trustees of The Brodie Fund. She has served on the Board of the Cultural Access Network of NJ, 180 Turning Lives Around, and was a member of the Domestic Violence Response Team for her local Police Departments. Lisa was also on the Board of Trustees for Garden State German Shepherd Rescue. Lisa attended Montclair State University and Berkeley School of Business in Woodbridge, NJ.

 

Chris Palmieri

Lead Puppeteer

Chris is excited to be serving as Lead Puppeteer at the Field Station and joining them for his eleventh season! Chris’ work as a puppeteer and puppet builder has been seen all throughout the NYC area and the country, most recently in the off-Broadway run of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh as Tigger. Other notable credits include starring in the titular role of the Emmy-Nominated preschool series Snug’s House (NBC/Universal Kids), Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train Live! (Gables Grove Prod/Mill’s Entertainment), and building puppets for a Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live! (Alternaversal.)

Summer Season

10am – 6pm on Tuesdays through Sundays
June 24 through August 31

Fall Season

10am – 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays
September 6 through November 9; Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7

The Box Office closes 30 minutes before park closing.
The Jurassic Zoo Bounce House opens at 11am and closes 30 minutes before park closing. For the safety of all guests and staff, the Jurassic Zoo will close in the event of rain and with winds more than 15mph.
