Events at Field Station: Dinosaurs

More with a Roar in 2019

This year Field Station: Dinosaurs is giving you “More with a Roar!” Don’t miss all the thrills as we kick off our eighth exciting season of music, laughter and learning. Explore our mysterious riverside trails and come face to face with the Mighty T-Rex. The Field Station hosts over 30 fun and educational live shows, games and activities every day. And new for 2019, we’ve got baby dinosaurs! — a world premier show that answers the musical question, “What came first, the dinosaur or the egg?” Check out our Events page for special presentations in the Super Stars of Science series!

  Dinosaurs After Dark

A spooky, funny and thrilling adventure for the whole family featuring a lantern lit tour of the park, the Mesozoic Midway where everyone is a winner and more! But watch out! The trails are dark and there’s a hungry T-Rex lurking in the shadows. A fearless Dinosaur Wrangler will lead a Tyrannosaurus Hunt along the Field Station’s darkened trails with a stop at every dinosaur and a few surprises along the way.

At the end of the night, everyone will gather around the campfire for a dinosaur sing-a-long, roasted marshmallows and hot chocolate!  Friday and Saturday nights starting September 27 through October 26

Field Station: Dinosaurs is…

A world-class family attraction that combines cutting-edge science with the creative minds of great artists to create a one-of-a-kind experience that’s thrilling, educational and fun.

The Field Station is a wild scientific expedition in Bergen County’s beautiful Overpeck Park, on the banks of a scenic creek and surrounded by natural woods. Over 30 life-sized, moving, realistic dinosaurs come to life thanks to the brilliant engineering of the world’s leading roboticists and the imagination of our artists.

And at the center of it all is the fun, the joy and the wonder of dinosaurs. Our expedition takes every family on a shared adventure – full of mystery, surprise and a sense of awe.

Walk along wooded trails, check out life-sized dinosaurs and enjoy a full schedule of shows, games and activities, all of which is included in your Day Pass admission.
