Join Marc Rogoff as he portrays Joseph Leidy, known as “The Last Man Who Knew Everything”. He was a surgeon, paleontologist, parasitologist, geologist, and forensic scientist. Considered the “Father of American Paleontology”, he named and described the first nearly complete dinosaur ever uncovered, the Hadrosaurus, which is the Official State Dinosaur of NJ. Rutgers Geologist Museum
Explore fossils from the Rutgers Geology Museum and discover how fossil footprints narrate tales from the past. In this hands-on activity, guests can create their own fossil footprint stamp and share their own unique footprint stories. Following the activity be sure to visit Stomping Grounds Exhibit to learn more about fossil footprints. Free with day pass admission.

Our popular Scout Day returns for one last time before we close for good!
Meet the experts in topics ranging from camping to lizards to paleontology. Try out hands-on activities that are applicable to Brownie and Girl Scout Badges, Cub Scout belt loops and Boy Scout merit badges. All Scouts in uniform will earn a commemorative Field Station patch!

The Box Office closes 30 minutes before park closing.
The Jurassic Zoo Bounce House opens at 11am and closes 30 minutes before park closing. For the safety of all guests and staff, the Jurassic Zoo will close in the event of rain and with winds more than 15mph.
