2019 Season

This year Field Station: Dinosaurs is giving you “More with a Roar!”

Don’t miss all the thrills on Opening Day as we kick off our eighth exciting season of music, laughter and learning at our revamped base of operations in Bergen County’s beautiful Overpeck County Park.

Explore the mysterious riverside trails and come face to face with the Mighty T-Rex. The Field Station hosts over 30 live shows, games and activities every day that are included in the price of your Day Pass. Meet our Paleo Picasso and learn to draw a dinosaur, be witness to some of science’s Great Moments of Discovery and help us choose the menu for a Tyrannosaurus Rex at the T-Rex Feeding Frenzy. We’re battling summer “brain drain” with fast-paced games, education shows and non-stop hilarity all day long!

And new for 2019, we’ve got Baby Dinosaurs! — a world premier show that answers the musical question, “What came first, the dinosaur or the egg?” Next, we have the Mesozoic Midway, a crazy collection of Dinosaur-themed carnival games where everybody plays and everybody wins a prize!

Of course, all your old favorites will be back, including Dinosaur Daredevil! — the Field Station’s cool, glow-in-the-dark live puppet show which you can add to your adventure for just $5!

It’s shaping up to be our best season yet on the banks of Overpeck Creek! Don’t miss one minute of the action because, in 2019, you get “More with a Roar!”

Dinosaurs After Dark

A spooky, funny and thrilling adventure for the whole family featuring a lantern lit tour of the park, the Mesozoic Midway where everyone is a winner and more! But watch out! The trails are dark and there’s a hungry T-Rex lurking in the shadows. A fearless Dinosaur Wrangler will lead a Tyrannosaurus Hunt along the Field Station’s darkened trails with a stop at every dinosaur and a few surprises along the way.

At the end of the night, everyone will gather around the campfire for a dinosaur sing-a-long, roasted marshmallows and hot chocolate!

Friday and Saturday nights starting September 27 through October 26
